Homage to Vermeer. The Milkmaid. Mixed media, 16 x 21 inches, and 18-3/8 x 23-7/8  inches in frame. This was a giclée, enhanced in oil and richly textured by the artist. A unique piece. This composition was inspired by an oil-on-canvas painted by Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer sometime around 1660. Vermeer's original is in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. See insert.
